RADIO SPEECH Good morning, welcome to our village and our school. Today is a special day. Today is PEACE DAY. Now we want to stop and reflect: Let´s imagine if ..... there were no countries.... nothing to kill or die for... there were no religions....... there were no possessions .. and no need for money....... And now you may say WE ARE DREAMERS, BUT IT IS NOT A BAD IDEA. Peace is an ongoing process that requires our constant attention. Our lives become more peaceful the moment we decide to try to be PEACEMAKERS. SO LET´S TRY TO BUILD OUR OWN PEACE PROPOSALS. That´s why today is the perfect moment to start to establish our MISSION that we want to share with you. Why don´t we try to end wars? Let´s try to live in a state of balance and harmony. And what about participating in a peace day event every year? Don´t you think we are all the same without any difference of sex, race or religion? We shouldn ´t be angry without reason. We promise we won´t hurt anybody...... and we won ´t discriminate against anyone. Let´s help people who are not on the right path. These are really high proposals. As we see it, Peace means loving, giving, sharing, listening to others, having friends, .... Today we are going to set out a COMMON GOAL: YOU STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FROM IES ALHAMBRA AND WE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FROM IES ALFACAR CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. HOW??? JUST STARTING A LINK BETWEEN US. LET´S IMAGINE WE BECOME FRIENDS FROM TODAY ON.
